NIF & CBSE team up again

Building on the success of last year, NIF has again joined hands with CBSE to unearth the creativity of our children. This year also NIF in collaboration with CBSE is organizing a National Competition for innovations and ideas for students. Last year the competition had generated very encouraging results. More than 100 entries were received from different schools across twenty states. While the number of entries received was small, the range of creative ideas was very large. This year the competition has been declared open and the entries are accepted till October 31st, 2006. In case the children cannot submit their entries on or before the stipulated date, submission of entries can be considered up to December 31st, 2006. This year, NIF is also planning to bring out a special multimedia CD featuring children’s innovations and creativity. This CD would be made available shortly. Apart from this NIF also plans to bring out another special children’s issue like last year, which was much appreciated by the readers. NIF appreciates the efforts and endeavors of CBSE in aiding its mission of making India truly innovative by supporting it through the chain of its affiliated schools. With CBSE's active cooperation we will be able to scale up the process of scouting, documenting, disseminating and recognizing creative ideas, innovation and interesting applications of traditional knowledge from across the country trans passing diverse regions, cultures and communities.
