Mr. Markose is 30 years of age and has studied upto the 9th standard. He is working on daily wages as a Lascar in Kerala Samuhya Jalasechana Samithi. He has invented new device called "Water Level Indicator" to monitor water level in wells.

Water Level Indicator
It can measure the depth of water level in bore wells. A probe is connected to 50m long graduated & insulated wire which is fixed on a wheel. The wheel is connected to a stand & can rotate on the axil. One end of the wheel is connected to the commit consisting of pcbs, ic, battery, transistors, and resistances etc. Which is fixed at the whole on the center of the wheel. The wire with the probe is to be inserted through the bore wells. When the tip of the probe touches the water level the led grows & a beep sound is heard. then the depth can be measured from the graduated wire.
